Summary

This study looks at how gender-affirming hormone therapy changes heart function, fat levels in the heart and liver, and insulin sensitivity. Researchers will follow 40 transgender adults (20 male-to-female, 20 female-to-male) for 6 months using MRI scans and glucose tests. The goal is to better understand the cardiovascular risks and benefits of hormone therapy.
