First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at how the amount of weight a woman gains during pregnancy affects the spinal anesthesia she gets for a planned C-section. Researchers will watch 200 pregnant women and record how the anesthesia works and how their bodies respond. No extra treatments or tests are given—just routine care. The goal is to learn if weight gain changes anesthesia needs or side effects like low blood pressure.
