Summary

This study tested whether starting a hysterectomy by cutting the back of the vagina (posterior colpotomy first) helps keep the vagina longer compared to the usual method. Eighty women having a hysterectomy for non-cancer reasons took part. The main goal was to measure any difference in vaginal length after surgery.
