First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether non-surgical gum treatment can change levels of asprosin, a protein linked to heart health, in 60 adults with both stable angina and gum disease. Participants will receive standard gum therapy, and their blood asprosin levels will be measured before and three months after treatment. The goal is to better understand the connection between gum health and heart disease.
