Summary
This study aims to find better brain-wave patterns to monitor how deeply unconscious a patient is during anesthesia. Researchers will observe 250 adults having elective surgery, recording their brain activity as they are given different anesthetic drugs. The goal is to develop a more accurate and universal monitoring system than what is currently used, which could make anesthesia safer.
