First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026

Summary

This study looks at brain wave patterns (EEG) in 280 adults during general anesthesia with either propofol or sevoflurane. The goal is to see if one drug produces different brain activity, which could help predict who might develop confusion after surgery. Participants are adults having heart procedures like atrial fibrillation ablation.
