Summary
This study tested a non-invasive treatment called enhanced external counterpulsation (EECP) in 10 adults with long COVID symptoms like fatigue and shortness of breath. Participants received EECP sessions totaling 35 hours over either 7 weeks or 4 weeks. The goal was to see if the therapy could improve exercise ability and heart-lung function, and which schedule worked better.
