Summary
This study tested whether a special educational program could help prevent substance abuse in teenagers. Researchers worked with 226 adolescents aged 10-18 who had not received similar education before. The program used a behavior change model to teach teens about the risks of drugs and alcohol and to encourage healthier choices.
