Two classes stop diabetic foot ulcers in their tracks
NCT ID NCT07329491
Summary
This study tested whether a short educational program could help prevent serious foot ulcers in people with diabetes. Forty-two participants were split into two groups: one received two special education sessions, while the other got standard care. The education group showed better knowledge and foot care habits, and no one developed a new foot ulcer during the six-month study.
