Balloon game aims to lift Kids' spirits for tough sleep therapy
NCT ID NCT04660994
Summary
This study aimed to see if a special educational game could help children and their parents better manage a challenging nighttime breathing therapy. The game, called Yapouni, used a hot air balloon that flew higher the longer a child used their CPAP or NIV machine, hoping to improve motivation and communication. The trial planned to compare standard education alone against education plus the game, but it was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
