Summary
This study tested whether teaching mothers about newborn jaundice after a C-section could improve their knowledge and lower jaundice rates. 78 mothers took part, with some receiving two training sessions and others standard care. Researchers measured knowledge changes and tracked jaundice symptoms by phone after discharge.
