Can education fight heart disease and hunger? study tests new approach
NCT ID NCT05379842
Summary
This study tested whether a health education program could improve long-term heart health and reduce food insecurity in vulnerable families. Over 24 months, 460 participants were taught about healthy lifestyles and then split into groups receiving different levels of follow-up support. Researchers compared traditional in-person classes with a virtual program using videos and messages to see which worked best.
