Summary

This study tested whether a special education program for mothers of premature babies could help them feel more confident and bond better with their infants. The program taught mothers how to care for their babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Researchers measured the mothers' confidence and feelings of attachment before and after the one-month program.
