Summary
This study looked at how well the blood thinner edoxaban works and its safety in people aged 80 and older with a type of irregular heartbeat called atrial fibrillation. The goal was to see if it helps prevent strokes and serious bleeding. Over 1,200 older adults in Korea took part, and researchers tracked strokes, bleeding events, and deaths.
