Summary
This study looks at whether a screening and a brief telehealth counseling session in the emergency department can help people reduce their use of drugs or alcohol. Researchers will enroll 650 adults who are at lower or moderate risk for substance use problems. The goal is to see if this approach lowers how often and how much people use substances.
