New cream could soothe youngest eczema sufferers

Summary
This study is testing a cream called tapinarof to see if it is safe and effective for treating eczema in babies and toddlers aged 3 months to under 2 years. About 180 children will use the cream or a placebo for 8 weeks, followed by an open period where all can receive the active cream. The main goal is to see if the cream can significantly clear or almost clear the skin rash.
