Summary
This study tested whether eculizumab can help people with severe Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), a rare nerve disorder that can cause paralysis. The trial included 57 adults in Japan who had severe symptoms and were already receiving standard treatment. The main goal was to see if eculizumab helped them recover mobility faster than a placebo.
