Summary
This research aims to understand how lifestyle factors and social conditions affect mental health in Ecuadorian teenagers aged 14-19. Researchers will survey approximately 1,000 adolescents in Quito to identify risks and protective factors for mental wellbeing. The study will collect information but does not provide treatment, with findings intended to help develop better mental health programs and policies for young people.
