Summary

This study tested whether a nasal spray made with ectoine can ease allergy symptoms like a stuffy or runny nose and sneezing. Fifty adults with allergic rhinitis used either the ectoine spray or a standard cromoglycic acid spray for 14 days. Doctors and patients rated how well the sprays worked at one week and two weeks.
