Natural allergy relief? study tests ectoin sprays in hay fever sufferers

NCT ID NCT01471184

Summary

This study tested whether Ectoin allergy nasal spray and eye drops work better than a placebo spray and drops at relieving seasonal allergy symptoms. Forty-six adults with ragweed allergies used the products in a special chamber that exposed them to allergens. Researchers measured changes in symptoms like sneezing, congestion, and itchy, watery eyes.
