Summary
This study tested whether using a special monitor (ECOM) during heart surgery helps patients recover faster and have fewer heart problems. 100 adults having planned coronary bypass surgery took part. Half received standard care, while the other half had their fluids and heart function guided by the ECOM monitor. The goal was to see if this approach reduces hospital stay and major heart complications.
