NCT ID NCT06274411

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study compares two ways of using ECMO (a heart-lung support machine) during high-risk heart procedures. One group gets ECMO set up and ready to use if needed, while the other gets it started before the procedure. The goal is to see which approach leads to fewer serious problems like death, heart attack, or stroke. About 176 adults with weak hearts or complex blockages will take part.
