New hope for hard-to-treat hepatitis d: combo therapy targets stubborn infections

Summary
This study tests whether a combination of two experimental drugs (tobevibart and elebsiran) can clear or lower hepatitis D virus in adults who still have detectable virus despite taking bulevirtide. About 150 participants will receive the combination and be followed for up to 240 weeks to check safety and how well the virus is suppressed. The goal is to see if this new approach can achieve undetectable virus levels.
