Vest maps heart beats to Fine-Tune pacing accuracy

NCT ID NCT06509763

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tested whether standard ECG rules correctly identify when a special pacemaker lead (left bundle branch pacing) successfully resynchronizes the heart. Researchers used a non-invasive vest that creates real-time 3D maps of the heart's electrical activity in 50 adults receiving this pacing. The goal was to confirm that the usual ECG criteria match what the detailed maps show, helping doctors implant pacemakers more accurately.
