New exercise approach targets stubborn hip pain
NCT ID NCT07426601
Summary
This study tested whether a specific type of exercise could help people with iliopsoas tendonitis, a painful inflammation in the hip. Researchers compared standard physical therapy to therapy that included these special 'eccentric' exercises. The goal was to see which approach better reduced pain, improved hip movement, and enhanced quality of life for the 44 participants over a 6-week period.
