NCT ID NCT07027345
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a gel called TolaSure can help control symptoms of epidermolysis bullosa simplex (EBS), a genetic condition that causes fragile, blistering skin. 40 patients, including children as young as 4, will apply the gel or a placebo to their skin daily for two months, then all will use the active gel for another two months. Researchers will measure changes in blister size, pain, itch, and quality of life to see if the gel is safe and effective.
