Summary
This study aimed to better understand the long-term health of people who survived Ebola and the people they lived with. Researchers followed 787 survivors and their household contacts in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for over a year. They tracked health problems, immune system changes, and whether the virus could still be present in the body to improve future care and prevent spread.
