Phone calls aim to stop patients from dropping out of eating disorder care
NCT ID NCT07411807
Summary
This study tests a simple program to help adults with eating disorders like anorexia or bulimia stay connected to care while waiting for specialized treatment. It involves three supportive phone calls and five online group sessions during the waiting period. The goal is to see if this extra contact reduces the number of people who drop out before their treatment even begins.
