First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study aimed to see how acceptable PrEP (a daily pill to prevent HIV) is among men who have sex with men and transgender individuals who agreed to HIV and STI testing through community outreach, both online and in person. Researchers recruited 209 participants from a geolocation app and community spaces. The main goal was to measure how many HIV-negative participants who were eligible for PrEP actually started taking it one month later.
