Summary
This study tested two simple methods to help children aged 6-9 feel less pain and fear when a nurse removes an IV line from their arm. Researchers compared using a special spray to loosen the tape, having children squeeze a stress ball, and using both methods together. The goal was to find a better, non-drug way to make this common hospital procedure easier for kids.
