Summary

This study tests a device called the EASEE® System, which is implanted in the brain to stimulate areas causing seizures. The goal is to see if it safely reduces monthly seizure rates in 200 adults with drug-resistant focal epilepsy. Participants will not know if the device is active for the first 6 months, then all receive stimulation for at least a year.
