Study tests early action to head off future heart trouble
NCT ID NCT01406353
Summary
This study is for people with a moderately narrowed heart valve who don't have symptoms. It compares two approaches: performing a non-surgical valve repair procedure early versus following the standard practice of waiting and monitoring. The goal is to see if the early procedure can better prevent future serious heart events like stroke or heart failure.
