Doctors challenge the 4-Week wait for pancreatitis treatment
NCT ID NCT07406698
Summary
This trial is testing whether performing a minimally invasive endoscopic drainage procedure early (within 26 days) is better than waiting about 4 weeks for patients with a severe, infected pancreatic fluid collection. It aims to see if early intervention prevents patients from getting sicker, reduces complications, and shortens hospital stays. The study will enroll 104 adults with this condition.
