Heart attack pill cocktail aims to crush cholesterol early

Summary
This study aims to see if starting a three-drug cholesterol-lowering pill combination (bempedoic acid, a high-intensity statin, and ezetimibe) right before hospital discharge is better than usual care at reducing 'bad' LDL cholesterol 8 weeks later. It will enroll 600 adults who have just been hospitalized for a heart attack or unstable angina. The goal is to control cholesterol aggressively early on to help prevent future heart problems.
