First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 08, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study is testing if starting with a powerful arthritis drug right away is better than the standard step-by-step approach for people newly diagnosed with a type of inflammatory joint disease. It aims to see if this early, intensive treatment can put the disease into remission, allowing patients to stop all medication for a long time. The trial will also check if this strategy works better for people treated within the first 3 months of symptoms.
