Can your voice reveal your mental health future? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT05384392
Summary
This study aims to find better ways to diagnose the specific type of psychosis a person has after their first episode. Researchers will analyze participants' speech patterns and blood markers to see if they can predict whether the psychosis is related to mood disorders (like bipolar or depression) or other conditions (like schizophrenia). The goal is to help doctors choose the right treatment faster, which could improve long-term outcomes for young people experiencing psychosis.
