Searching for a 'Crystal Ball' in cervical fluid to predict premature birth
NCT ID NCT02225717
Summary
This study aimed to find early warning signs in a pregnant woman's body that could predict if she will deliver her baby too early. Researchers looked for specific molecules in cervical fluid that might signal the body is preparing for labor prematurely. The goal was to create a better test to identify high-risk women so doctors could provide more timely and appropriate care.
