Can a simple scan predict pregnancy risk?
NCT ID NCT07204028
Summary
This study aimed to find better ways to predict if a pregnancy will continue successfully through the first trimester. Researchers followed 120 women in early pregnancy, using a special type of ultrasound to measure blood flow in a structure called the corpus luteum. They wanted to see if these measurements, along with other standard checks, could help identify pregnancies at higher risk of miscarriage.
