Scientists hunt for early warning signs of pregnancy loss in blood
NCT ID NCT03877939
Summary
This study aimed to find better ways to detect early pregnancy loss, such as ectopic pregnancies, which can be life-threatening. Researchers tested whether measuring specific substances (kisspeptin 54 and miR-324-3p) in the blood could serve as early warning signs. The study involved 433 women and collected blood samples frequently in early pregnancy to track these markers.
