Eye scan may predict spinal headaches in new moms
NCT ID NCT07360756
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a quick, painless eye ultrasound can help predict a severe headache that sometimes happens after a C-section with spinal anesthesia. Researchers will measure the optic nerve sheath diameter before and after the procedure in 150 women. The goal is to find a way to identify those at higher risk early, so they can get faster relief.
