Can early therapy give fragile newborns a better start?
NCT ID NCT07201792
Summary
This study is testing whether starting a family-centered physical therapy program early in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) helps improve the development of at-risk infants. It will involve 100 babies who are premature, have a very low birth weight, or other serious newborn conditions. Researchers will compare the babies' motor skills, thinking, and language development over the first year to see if the early therapy makes a difference.
