Could getting up sooner ease pain after heart surgery?

NCT ID NCT07475273

Summary

This study is testing if allowing patients to move around earlier after a common heart procedure can safely reduce back pain. After the procedure, patients usually must lie flat for hours to prevent bleeding, which often causes back pain. Researchers will compare back pain levels between a group that gets up sooner and a group that follows the standard rest period.
