Move sooner, hurt less? study tests early activity after heart procedure

NCT ID NCT07475273

Summary

This study is testing if getting patients moving sooner after a common heart procedure can safely reduce back pain. After the procedure, patients must lie still for hours to prevent bleeding, which often causes significant back pain. Researchers will compare back pain levels between a group that starts moving earlier and a group that follows the standard, longer bed rest.
