Scientists search for early warning signs of pregnancy diabetes
NCT ID NCT05632055
Summary
This study aims to understand if certain substances in a pregnant person's blood during the first trimester can help predict who will develop gestational diabetes later in pregnancy. Researchers are comparing blood samples from 160 pregnant individuals with and without gestational diabetes. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to earlier detection methods, not to provide treatment.
