Study asks: can we get knee fracture patients moving sooner?
NCT ID NCT07251699
Summary
This study is comparing two different physical therapy plans for people recovering from a specific type of broken knee bone (tibial plateau fracture) that has been repaired with plates and screws. It will test if starting active knee exercises and putting weight on the leg earlier leads to less pain, better movement, and faster healing compared to a more cautious, delayed approach. The goal is to find the best way to help patients regain function and quality of life after this serious injury.
