First-Breath boost: simple air pressure could save premature babies
NCT ID NCT07162285
Summary
This study is testing whether giving gentle air pressure (called bubble CPAP) to premature babies immediately after birth helps them breathe better. The research involves 52 babies born before 34 weeks who are having trouble breathing. Babies are randomly assigned to receive either the early air pressure or standard oxygen support to see which approach leads to fewer breathing problems and better survival.
