New gel patch could offer simple fix for persistent eardrum holes
NCT ID NCT06083181
Summary
This study is testing a special gel patch called Perf-Fix to see if it can help close long-lasting holes in the eardrum. Doctors apply the patch during a clinic visit, and it's designed to support the eardrum's natural healing. The trial will measure how often the patch successfully closes the hole and check for any safety issues.
