First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at where ear tubes are placed in children's eardrums to find out if one spot causes fewer problems. About 386 kids will get a tube in the usual spot in one ear and a new spot in the other ear. Researchers will track issues like drainage, blocked tubes, and holes that don't heal for up to 3 years.
