Can a tingle in your ear change how you feel pain?

Summary
This study aims to understand if stimulating a nerve in the outer ear with mild electricity can change how healthy people perceive pain and their mood. Researchers will enroll about 76 healthy adults. Participants will have their pain sensitivity tested with heat on their forearm while receiving two different types of mild ear stimulation in separate sessions to compare the effects.
