Could a tiny ear zap help tame diabetes and boost mood?
NCT ID NCT07334951
Summary
This study is testing if a gentle, non-invasive stimulation of a nerve in the ear can help improve the body's ability to process sugar and improve mood in adults with obesity and early-stage type 2 diabetes. It involves 70 participants who will receive the stimulation and have their blood sugar, body measurements, and mood checked before and after. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free approach can help manage these interconnected conditions.
